UMIYA RALEIGH, ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT SUSHI AND HOTPOT RESTAURANT, READY TO MAKE WAVES WITH GRAND OPENING

[RALEIGH, N.C., Apr. 1, 2025] — Umiya (pronounced oo-MEE-yuh) Raleigh, an all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant, will soon hold its grand opening on Saturday, April 19, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Umiya Raleigh is the newest addition to a national, family-led chain. The restaurant soft opened in December of 2024. Located on East Six Forks Road, the 12,500-square-foot space seats about 300 diners.

Grand opening festivities will include a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m., as well as a giveaway.

The family behind Umiya started the chain in Texas. They now manage more than 20 locations in Texas, the Carolinas, Ohio, Tennessee, Kentucky and Florida, making Umiya the largest all-you-can eat sushi chain in the United States in terms of restaurant quantity.

“We focus on catering to the unique needs of each locale,” said one of the restaurant partners. “For example, in Raleigh, our all-you-can-eat sushi menu has unlimited sashimi.”

In fact, the Raleigh restaurant serves more than just sushi. The menu also includes several varieties of hotpot as well as an array of appetizers, desserts, specials and more.

“We’re striving to provide the best all-you-can-eat dining experience for our cherished guests from coast to coast,” another partner said. “We’re excited to welcome everyone for our grand opening.”
