At dinner, hibachi chicken, shrimp and steak from our hibachi grill are part of our all-you-can-eat sushi menu. Order them as many times as you like, along with nigiri, sashimi, specialty rolls and kitchen favorites like fried rice and teriyaki. We’re on E Six Forks Rd near North Hills, with free parking next door.

Pick sushi, or sushi and hot pot. Hibachi comes with either one at dinner. Everyone at the table picks the same option.

Order by tablet, by QR code, or with your server. Everything is made to order, so order a few items at a time.

Teriyaki chicken, tofu, vegetable, salmon, steak or shrimp. Tempura vegetable, chicken or shrimp.

Nigiri, sashimi, hand rolls and 35 chef’s specialty rolls.
HIBACHI, SUSHI AND HOT POT
Choose sushi and hot pot together and you also get your own hot pot, with nine broths and a sauce bar, alongside your hibachi and sushi.
Hibachi to go
Our online ordering has hibachi lunch specials for pickup, like hibachi chicken, steak, shrimp or salmon with vegetables, rice, and soup or salad. Order pickup.
Groups and birthdays
With about 300 seats, there’s room for birthdays and big groups. Groups of 15 or more can call 919-896-6023 to reserve Monday through Thursday.

Hibachi + sushi: $32.95 adults, $17.99 ages 7 to 10, $13.99 ages 3 to 6. Hibachi + sushi + hot pot: $38.95, $23.99 and $19.99.

Is the hibachi all you can eat?
Yes, at dinner. Hibachi chicken, shrimp and steak are part of the all-you-can-eat sushi menu, so you can order them as many times as you like during your 2-hour seating.
Is hibachi available at lunch?
Not for dine-in. Hibachi is on the dinner menu, served Monday to Friday from 3:30 PM and all day on weekends and holidays. For lunch, you can order a hibachi lunch special for pickup online.
Is there a hibachi chef show at the table?
No. Our hibachi is cooked to order on the hibachi grill in our kitchen and brought to your table, so you can keep ordering hibachi and sushi without waiting for a show.
Does the hot pot option include hibachi?
Hibachi comes with all-you-can-eat sushi, or with sushi and hot pot together. The hot pot only option doesn’t include it.
Is Umiya a hibachi buffet?
No. It’s all you can eat, but you order at your table and everything is made to order.
Do you take reservations?
We’re walk-in only. Groups of 15 or more can call 919-896-6023 to reserve for Monday through Thursday.
